Our Mission
The Waymaker stands as an essential 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a resolute mission: to serve as the conduit through which God’s spotlight shines on the unique talents of every at-risk child. We aim to facilitate increased programming ability by eliminating the barriers to access purchasing program ability hindering their journey. We are dedicated to enabling these children to wholeheartedly immerse themselves in the pursuit of their gifts, free from the constraints of expenses such as sports and arts registration fees, sports, and arts tuition, private school education costs, and the acquisition of necessary equipment like musical instruments, dance attire, footwear, cleats, and uniforms.
The WayMaker program uplifts underprivileged youth and their families by harnessing the support of community contributions and sponsors. This support is channeled towards nurturing their foundational education in arts, sports, and private schooling. Each of us becomes an instrument that bridges divides and fortifies the cultivation of these children’s talents. Our collective desire is to prevent them from succumbing to discouragement or resorting to activities that hinder their growth. The community plays a direct role in endorsing educators, coaches, and students across all domains of talent during their early educational journey. Our shared aspiration is for a positive outcome for the youth in our community, and this pursuit commences with the establishment of a solid foundation from the outset, unhindered by financial constraints.
The Waymaker was established in 2023 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Houston Texas and surrounding area.
